L'etichetta indipendente italiana Tea Kettle insieme a Mad Dragon Records, label americana gestita dagli studenti dell'università Drexel di Philadelphia, presentano una compilation che ospita artisti di entrambe le etichette.
"Transatlantic Current" è uscito il 23 Febbraio e propone otto brani, gli artisti Mad Dragon sono: Hoots & Hellmouth (Philadelphia, PA,), Twin Thousands (Brooklyn, NY), Andrew Lipke & The Prospects (Philadelphia, PA) and The Swimmers (Philadelphia, PA)
La Tea Kettle propone tra i suoi artisti: Isabel at Sunset (Parma, Italy), House of All (Verona, Italy), Home (Verona, Italy) and Billie Vision and The Dancers (Malmo, Sweden).

Italian independent record label Tea-Kettle Records is collaborating with MAD Dragon Records, the award winning student-run record label based out of Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA) to release a compilation CD featuring artists from each labels’ respective roster.  
The "Transatlantic Current" is out since February 23 and features eight songs from MAD Dragon and Tea-Kettle artists.
MAD Dragon artists on the compilation include: Hoots & Hellmouth (Philadelphia, PA), Twin Thousands (Brooklyn, NY), Andrew Lipke & the Prospects (Philadelphia, PA) and The Swimmers (Philadelphia, PA).  
Tea-Kettle artists include: Isabel at Sunset (Parma, Italy), House of All (Verona, Italy), Home (Verona, Italy) and Billie Vision & The Dancers (Malmo, Sweden).  
The record will be made available as a free download on www.bandcamp.com for a limited period of time after the release.

A un anno di distanza da "Penso a Sonia ma suono per la gloria", torna Jocelyn Pulsar con un disco nuovo dal titolo "Il gruppo spalla non fa il soundcheck" in uscita il 21 Maggio su etichetta I Dischi della Lavatrice / Agos Music.

L'album in parte si allontana dai temi "filo-anni 80" dei precedenti lavori per affrontare temi più legati all'attualità e più personali, sempre con lo stile che contraddistingue il cantautore forlivese: testi ironici, melodie orecchiabili, chitarre acustiche, sonorità "lo-fi" sono infatti gli elementi distintivi di Jocelyn Pulsar.

After one year from "Penso a Sonia ma suono per la gloria" release, Jocelyn Pulsar is back with the new album "Il gruppo spalla non fa il soundcheck", out on May 31st  under I dischi della lavatrice/ Agos Music Label.
This album somehow moves away from the '80 topics of the previous album and approaches to current affair and intimates themes, always through his distinguishing style: ironic lyrics, catchy melodies, acoustic guitars, "lo-fi" sounds are indeed Jocelyn Pulsar particularities.

GLI SVEDESI THIS IS HEAD PRESENTANO IL LORO ALBUM DI DEBUTTO "0001"

THE SWEDISH BAND THIS IS HEAD PRESENTS ITS NEW DEBUT ALBUM "0001"

Le tracce che compongono “0001”, album d’esordio degli svedesi This Is Head prendono il nome dall’ordine cronologico in cui sono state create. L’album prende il nome quindi dalle singole tracce.

“0001” è una perfetta fusione di kraut disco anni’70 ed elegante indie rock anni ‘80, con una ripetitiva linea di basso in prima linea, una ritmica lineare ed un suono sognante ma molto energetico.

Testi e voci sono usate con moderazione, i This is Head lasciano che sia la musica a parlare.

Si tratta di un album senza tempo e senza spazio: “0001” suona infatti come le strade bagnate della nativa Malmö, ma anche come un enorme magazzino di Brooklyn, o ancora come un parcheggio deserto in qualche parte remota di Düsseldorf.

Each song in "0001", debut album of the Swedish band This Is Head, is called after the chronological order in wich it has been written.                       

The full album is named after the first song they made 0001. The song didn't fit the epic indie/space-pop-sound they developed and it's currently not being played by the band.

"0001" is a perfect mix between '70, krautrock and stylish '80 indiepop, with a repetitive bassline in front line steady rhythms and a dreamy but energic sound.                   

Lyrics and voice are moderated used, This Is Head let the music talk.                     

It's a timeless and spaceless album: "0001" sounds like the wet streets in native Malmo, but also like a big storehouse in Brooklyn or a desert parking lot in some remote Dusseldorf area.

I VEDA esplorano la mente umana con "PROSA" / VEDA explore human mind with their "PROSA"

     "PROSA" UN RACCONTO DELL'UOMO PER  L'UOMO /     "PROSA" A TALE FOR EVERYBODY

Esce “Prosa”, ep d’esordio della rock band brianzola Veda.

L’ep è composto da 5 brani che parlano soprattutto di relazioni amorose, routine, contatti, pensieri e dubbi  coi quali l’uomo tende sempre meno a confrontarsi.

Le musiche che li accompagnano sono come “vestiti di note” cuciti su misura, caratterizzate da una capacità narrativa pari quasi ai testi stessi con salite frenetiche, calme apparenti o reali, suoni prima dissonanti e subito dopo melodici, sopra un’intelaiatura rock.

I testi hanno l’efficacia di indagare la mente umana, andando a premere forte in quella parte dove il confine tra uomo ed animale è più sottile.

Veda, rock band from the Milan area, has released "Prosa", its debut ep.
"Prosa" is made of 5 tracks that tell about love affairs, daily routine, thoughts, doubts whom man doesn't want to confront with anymore.
Lyrics try to investigate human mind, going where the border between man and beast is thinner.

Veda's music is like a tailor-made "note dress", with great narrative skills, hectic rises, outward calm, discordant sounds that immediately turn into melodic ones, all in a "rock" frame.
