La band piacentina Ants Army Project presenta il proprio album dʼesordio,“Wooden Days”, in uscita per la concittadina Tea Kettle Records.
“Wooden Days” nasce dalla campagna emiliana e sogna lʼAmerica. Tante infatti sono le influenze a stelle strisce della giovane band, ma lʼalbum profuma della nostra terra.
Questʼalbum evoca notti insonni, posaceneri pieni, fiumi di birra, un lungo viaggio, lʼamore ma anche elementi caratteristici del territorio della band, come il fiume che accarezza il loro paese dʼorigine, il silenzio dei boschi severi che macchiano le colline. Tutto questo e molto altro ancora.
“Wooden Days” parla di temi semplici ma allo stesso tempo importanti ed attuali.
Si parla infatti di celebrità e privacy, di amore, emarginazione, transessualità, sogni, nostalgia, morte.
Il tutto è raccontato con la loro musica, un indie-rock che entra dentro, con una voce graffiante - coinvolta e coinvolgente - capace di raccontare tutto ciò in modo credibile.
Gli Ants Army Project ci catapultano direttamente oltreoceano, grazie alle loro sonorità,ma allo stesso tempo ci trattengono ben saldi alle nostre radici, alla nostra terra.
Il risultato è un album genuino, originale per il nostro Paese, mai banale e sempre decisamente appassionante.

The italian band Ants Army Project presents its debut album "Wooden Days", released by the fellow citizen record label Tea Kettle Records.
"Wooden Days" comes from the Emilia Romagna country and dreams of America.
Several are the star-spangled influences they have, but the album smells of their Land.
This album evokes sleepless nights, full ashtrays, flow of beer, a long trip, love but also some distinctive elements of the band territory, such as the river caressing their village, the silent and severe woods covering the hills. All this and much more.
"Wooden Days" talks about simple topics but at the same time they are important and living matters.
It talks about celebrity and privacy, love, marginalization, transsexuality, dreams, nostalgia, death.
Everything is told through the band music, a penetrating indie rock, with a scratched voice - involving and involved -  able to tell all in a credible way.
Ants Army Project throws you directly across the Atlantic, thanks to its sound, but at the same time the band keeps you steady to our roots, our land.
The result is a genuine album, original for our Country, never ordinary and always definetely absorbing.
